Who is Power in the Hat for?
Power in the Hat is designed primarily for women veterans and military women who want veteran apparel that feels current, visible, and personal.
Do I have to have deployed to wear these designs?
No. Deployment is not a requirement for veteran identity. Some collections reference specific campaigns, but our general veteran and branch designs are for veterans regardless of deployment history.
Do you make designs for branches other than the Army?
Yes. You can currently shop Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and general women veteran designs. Browse our hats and tees to see the available styles.
What does "Still Her" mean?
"Still Her" means military service did not erase the woman underneath the uniform. Strength, softness, humor, style, femininity, and individuality can all exist alongside service.
What does "She Served Too" mean?
"She Served Too" is a direct reminder that women served, led, sacrificed, and earned the title veteran too.
Are all hats embroidered?
No. Decoration methods vary by product. We are moving many designs toward printed production so detailed artwork, color, florals, and patterns reproduce more faithfully. Check each product listing for the current production details.
How are the products made?
Most products are produced through print-on-demand partners after an order is placed. This allows us to offer more designs and color options without holding large amounts of inventory.
Will colors look exactly the same on every product?
Colors may vary slightly depending on the garment color, fabric, production method, and screen settings.

Ordering & delivery
When will my order arrive?
Made-to-order items need both production time and shipping time. Timing varies by item, production partner, and destination. You will receive tracking information when your order ships. See Shipping & Returns for details.
Can I order for a graduation or other event?
Contact hello@powerinthehat.com before ordering if you have a specific deadline. Include the product, event date, and delivery location so we can help you assess the timing.
What if my item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
Email us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. We will review it with our production partner. Please read our Shipping & Returns information before purchasing.
Can I change my shipping address?
Contact us as soon as possible. An address change may not be possible once production begins. Review your address carefully before checkout.
Finding your style
Are hats and shirts sold as a set?
Hats and tees are sold separately. Matching links on our Still Her Magnolia and She Served Too Pink Hibiscus listings help you coordinate your look.
Can I add my own name to graduation gear?
The current named graduation listings contain the fixed artwork shown in their photos. A displayed name is not a customization field. Contact us before ordering if you need a different name or design.
How do I choose a size?
