Who is Power in the Hat for?
Power in the Hat is designed for women veterans, military women, and supporters who believe women who served deserve to be seen, recognized, and honored.
Are these hats only for Army veterans?
The first designs are inspired by Army service because that is where the founder’s story began. Future collections may include other branches, campaigns, and service identities.
What does “Still Her” mean?
“Still Her” means service did not erase the woman underneath the uniform. She may have deployed, led, fought, healed, sacrificed, and changed—but she is still herself.
What does “She Served Too” mean?
“She Served Too” is a direct reminder that military service has never belonged only to men. Women served. Women deployed. Women sacrificed. Women came home changed too.
Why do the hats look like classic veteran hats?
Because recognition matters. The traditional black-and-gold veteran hat is already understood by the public. Power in the Hat keeps that familiar recognition while adding feminine details that honor women veterans more fully.
Are these hats embroidered?
The goal is for the hats to be produced as embroidered designs whenever possible. Some details may be simplified during production so the final product looks clean, wearable, and durable.
Will every flower look exactly like the mockup?
Not always. Embroidery has limits. Floral details may be simplified so the design stitches cleanly and holds up well on the hat.
Do you offer Iraq and Afghanistan veteran hats?
Yes. Iraq and Afghanistan designs are part of the planned collection because many women from this generation of war have been under-recognized in veteran spaces.
